You are warmly invited to our very first "Tea with new Faculty" of the year, a nice tradition here at Penn English where one of our newest faculty members sits down to chat with English majors and minors about their path to Penn and their research interests.  Today we are wecoming Prof. Abdulhamit Arvas, 4:00-5:30pm, in FBH 135 ("the faculty lounge").   The event will begin with an informal chat with Prof. Arvas to be followed by relocating outside to enjoy some tea and cookies. Note that due to pandemic safety protocols, no food or beverages can be consumed indoors--but we will be providing some warm tea and tasty cookies for you to enjoy outside. Hopefully the weather gods will be on our side!
